Just Thoughts and Nothing Else

Age is but a number but a number that takes it's toll.
Age means you've gotten more wisdom
if you are that lucky soul.

So today as I look in the mirror and try to figure this out,
I can't recognize the woman there and I'm really starting to shout!
Whatever happened to that youthful look?
What happened to my face?
What have those many years took
That time has just erased!

So as the years progress for us
We try to hang on dearly
To the things that made our hearts profess
Our thoughts of love so nearly.

For it is today that you have noticed
That time has passed you by
But have you tried to remember
The things that you have tried?

You tried to catch the moments
that have caught you by surprise
Remember the ones that took your breath away
and sometimes made you cry?

So as you sit and reflect upon your life.
Keep in mind that it was yours
and it was pretty all right!

You may not have won a Pulitzer
Or even the lotto either
But life gave you all that you would accept
And didn't think much of your behavior.

True Love is something that people rarely get to experience in their lifetime,
I mean the kind of love that you feel for your child usually comes pretty naturally
but love of another being is something rare.
Husbands and wives sometimes are lucky enough to find this because they've grown together and became friends and never lost sight of what was important to make that love, REAL.
True love is unconditional. You accept that person for all that they are, all that they will be, and all that they have grown into, and you look to them like you look to no other before in your life!
You share that deep undying love that only the two of you can see when you look into each others eyes, when you glance at each other from across a crowded room, the look that is caught on a picture when you are looking at each other on a special day and someone just happens to snap that moment in time.
The kind of love that wakes you each morning with a smile and a thought of how lucky you are to have been blessed to have found this happiness in your life. How blessed you are to have that one special person in your life that knows you and your vulnerabilities and loves you anyway.
Blessed to know that your heart knew best, and made you make that decision to accept it with open arms.
Blessed to know that each day that you live and breathe that there will be no other because you have found the true meaning of unconditional true love, and they are lying next to you and sharing your life with you forever and ever.

If you are lucky enough to find this even once in your lifetime, you are blessed beyond belief! If you are lucky enough to think you have found it a second time, don't let it get away because you will have missed a love of a lifetime and will have to look back and say, Why???????????

Sometimes it's a parent, a sibling, a loved one, a friend or a spouse.
But sometimes when we forgive someone with the anger rather than
our heart and mind, then we haven't truly forgiven!
To truly forgive any of the transgressions against us we must think with our hearts first.

To live a life with unforgiving anger only causes us to keep seeing that person for the
things they did wrong and not for the reasons behind it,
and not for the reasons that we said we would forgive!
Whether the person is right or wrong, does not make our hearts any less heavily laden with
that anger and therefore we can never have a light heart filled with love instead of hatred.

I will never do things in my life that will make me have a guilty conscience.
I will give of myself so that I can be free. I can live with myself and all that I have in my heart.
Should something ever happen to that person, I would have to live with that the rest of my life and therefore since I have to live and breathe for myself each day,
I will not hold anyone responsible but myself.
For hanging on to hatred or an unforgiving heart is unjust to you and all you hold precious....
So set yourself free and truly forgive all who have harmed you in the past and will in the future!
You are so worth it!!!

As you start your new year, think about the decisions you make every day.
Think that as you make those decisions that somewhere along the way
there will consequences tomorrow.
Try to think that whatever you do in your life does have a consequence.
So no matter what you think to do in the new year, think that whatever
I do today can affect what will happen from that tomorrow.
Good or bad choices that we make is all on how we think about them, and
even though we make a good choice today tomorrow we may not.
So always keep in your hearts and minds that you always need to be true
to yourself, and always remember there will be a price to pay for whatever
we decide to do in life.
So if you do make a bad choice for convenience sake, remember that your
acts and choices of today are the consequences of tomorrow!
Do not live hastily!

Cheaters are people who just don't care! They don't ever expect to be caught, and the ones that do just don't care.
Before people cheat, they should think about the consequences of their actions. They should be concerned about the diseases they could be spreading and they should be concerned about the hearts they are breaking!
They never think about the spouse of a cheater that might just go out and do the same thing to them and then they would be the ones saying "Why"??????
If more people would work on making their marriages work, or try to understand why they aren't, maybe these things wouldn't be happening. Maybe if people weren't always so busy thinking that they need their ego's stroked and worried about the kids at home or the fact that they did love their partner and would just go back in time a little when things were simpler, and love was new they would then see for themselves what they've done to contribute to this now terrible hurtful situation. How they stopped trying to make each other feel important.
It tears apart your self esteem, your dignity and the pride you once felt. It makes you think that your entire existence with this person has been a lie! You've been cheated out of an explanation and all you can get now is more lies, more hurts.
I say, "Cheaters need to be with only cheaters, and leave the innocent ones alone"!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop hurting innocent children and spouses and only hurt each other because that's all you deserve or get some help to understand why you indulge yourself like a spoiled brat just to satisfy your ego'....

As a new year approaches,we leave our past behind.
Remember the things that made you happy from the past and store them in your memories forever.
Gain wisdom from the past whether it was good or bad and move forward!
Always remember that things in our life although at times are quite unexplainable, they happen for a reason. They teach us things if we take the time to see the lesson, and possibly learn from it.
Our past is part of who we are and are about to become.
Never let our misfortunes be the weights around our necks that pull us in and drown us, but rather let our misfortunes teach us our lessons of tomorrow.
Always try to see the Silver Lining in every cloud.
Try to feel the laughter in your heart of your memories so that you can go yet another day,
and always give your smile to someone. Smiles are Free, so share the wealth!
